Volunteers

Volunteers play a vital role in the education of our students at Keller Road Primary School. We invite our school community to express interest in a volunteer role. There are many opportunities to participate in the school program with your child.

All volunteers must have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a certificate of participation for Responding to Abuse and Neglect Education and Care (RAN-EC) Volunteer Induction session which is offered online.

The following opportunities’ are available for volunteers in the school community.

Classroom Support:

• Hearing children read
• Accompanying excursions
• Attending camps
• Helping in swimming program
• Class cooking
• Class activities

Resource Centre:

• Covering, repairing and reshelving books

Committees:

• Governing Council
• Fundraising
